Kate Bryan - Executive Director

Prior to joining MCSS in December of 2018, Director Bryan served as the D​eputy Executive Director at the Maryland Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), where she was responsible for the day-to-day management, emergency resp​onse operation, and administration of the agency. Before working as an Emergency Manager, Director Bryan spent twenty years in the private sector. Director Bryan earned her B.A. from Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts and her M.S. at the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law. Director Bryan is a Certified Public Manager (CPM) and FEMA Certified Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP).​​
